imageimageimage I had a great time at RWA 2014 in San Antonio. It was my first time to the city. I was blown away by the friendly people, the beauty of the Riverwalk, and the center-of-the-sun hotness that even air conditioning couldn’t break. I returned home with swollen feet, blistered toes, and brain overload, but it was well worth it.

As a newbie to the conference, I felt honored to sit in on workshops held by industry leaders like Bella Andre, Kristin Proby, Liliana Rhodes, and Marie Force to name a few. I hope to take their wisdom and apply it to my work. At the very least, I made some wonderful new friends and got a break from the daily grind.

The best thing I brought home was the knowledge that I’m not alone in my love for writing.

Awesome! Gives me incentive for NYC next year! Unless the airlines get a cheaper direct flight, think I’ll take Amtrak!
